Dear Friends,  

The Christian Science Publishing Society has been busy. They have launched new products including study Bibles, music and a new set of matching Sterling Bible and Science and Health for students (markers are available as well).  They are also introducing a new book, Christian Science: Continuing Evidence of Christ-Healing. We have sold 16 copies and counting!

The Reading Room will host a reading of the nativity of Christ Jesus on Wednesday, December 24, from 6:30 - 7:15. There may be cookies.  The reading will follow the citations from the latest edition of What Christmas Means to Me by Mary Baker Eddy. What a treat to have church on Christmas Eve!  Mark your calendars.

This is one beautifully crafted, high quality Bible - so well made you can see it will last a lifetime.
While all the main, easy to read text is in the center, there are wonderful references on the sides, telling us every other place in the Bible the story or text we are reading appears.
At the end, there are very helpful Biblical maps along with a map index.

AND there’s an amazing Reader’s Companion which provides:
- identification of important proper names
- a sense of the meaning of words used by the translators that are different from what we use today
- information on the background of life in Biblical times
- clarifies some of the social, legal, ethical, and religious concepts found in the Bible
- provides a note on each book of the Bible and identifies its original language, among other aspects.

With all these helpful, well thought out features, I am finding this Bible an important addition to my study of the Scriptures.
